Lorraine Contreras discovered electronic music when she was about 21, at the age of 22 went to her first rave which was the one of the last big massive's of California Together As One with an attendance of about 50,000 people her biggest influence was the 6 am set of Sandra Collins, at 6 am she had everyone in that coliseum dancing, which was amazing. Lorraine started spinning at the age of 23 when she realized that electronic music was the first thing that she truly loved and the first thing she was really passionate about. She got her first pair of belt drive turntable and hasn't looked back since.
One year after she started spinning she got her first residency in Fresno, CA at a club called Déjà Vu and till this day continues to play there every Friday and on some Saturday's. In between she has had a residency on Wednesday, which was one of Fresno most successful electronic music nights in years, playing along side with guest DJ's of her choice. She then moved to LA to try new things and got her third residency at a club called Fuel on Saturday nights. Where she would travel Fridays to Fresno Ca back on Saturdays to LA. Since then she has moved back to Fresno and started concentrating more on music and perfecting her mixing skills. Once she felt she had them perfected she submitted sets to a few shows and has had sets that have aired on Electronic Transmission, Eccentric Beats, Proton Radio, and most recently ETN.FM.
Her biggest influence has always been Sandra Collins then later on came to discover such producers as James Holden, Gabriel & Dresden, Ozgur Can, Luke Chable, Chloe Harris, just to name a few, her love for music has only grown, and she hopes to get into producing next.
